Russell Fildes

Russell Fildes has been the National Manager of the New Zealand Insolvency and Trustee Service since 2021 and holds the delegation of the Deputy Official Assignee in New Zealand. Russell oversees the operations of the Insolvency and Trustee Service which administers all personal bankruptcies, no asset procedures and debt repayment orders in New Zealand as well as company liquidations where the Official Assignee is appointed the liquidator. Russell also works with the policy team of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment on the development of personal and corporate insolvency law.

Russell has 20 years of insolvency experience predominantly with the Insolvency and Trustee Service.
