Superintendency of Insolvency and Entrepreneurship - Chile

The Superintendency of Insolvency and Entrepreneurship is the public service in charge oversee and supervise the actions by Observers, Trustees, Bankruptcy Auctioneers, administrators of a debtor’s continued business, insolvency economic advisors and, in general, of anyone who is, by law, subject to its supervision and oversight. Also, it is the entity in charge of advice the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism in matters within its purview and propose any advisable legal and regulatory reforms, among other important faculties.

The Superintendency of Insolvency and Entrepreneurship has responsibility for:

• Insolvency Policy
• Insolvency Practice/ Administration
• Insolvency Regulation (through the Ministry of Economy)
