Agnieszka Forowicz-Janicka - Deputy Director, Ministry of Justice, Poland

Since 2022, Agnieszka has been the Deputy Director of the Informatization and Court Registers Department at the Ministry of Justice, and since 2023 she has been serving as Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Justice for data opening. In the Department, she supervises the division of the development of registration systems, i.e. the National Court Register, electronic Land and Mortgage Registers, the Register of Pledges and the new system implemented in December 2021 – the National Register of Debtors. Agnieszka has extensive experience in project management. She was the manager of the National Court Register project and is currently playing this role in another project, co-financed from EU funds.

On a daily basis, she supervises the development of changes in registration systems, both from the documentation side as well as tests or system acceptances. She is also responsible for developing new assumptions for planned systems. She participates in agreeing with other departments responsible in the Ministry of Justice for the creation of legal regulations the content of these regulations, which has a direct impact on the adaptation of registration systems to the regulations. As part of her duties, she cooperates with the broadly understood government administration and courts as well as with external institutions that are users or beneficiaries of registration systems.
