Paul Morrison - Manager, Insolvency Policy, Corporate Insolvency and Competition Policy Directorate, Canada

Paul Morrison is Manager of Insolvency Policy in the Corporate, Insolvency and Competition Policy Directorate of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (formerly Industry Canada).  In this role, he oversees insolvency policy and legislation and has led legislative reform initiatives for Canada's Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act.  He also participates in international insolvency working groups for organizations including UNCITRAL, UNIDROIT, and APEC.  He joined the Government of Canada in 2008 following a career in private legal practice.
